3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (10%): A Vitamin C derivative where the C-3 hydroxyl group is protected by an ethyl group, the site most vulnerable to oxidative degradation in standard L-Ascorbic Acid. This structural modification prevents the colour change and loss of efficacy that occurs when L-Ascorbic Acid is exposed to air or light.
